Mike Krack has conceded Aston Martin has "a lot to learn" about its latest Formula 1 upgrade package after a "confusing" weekend at the Canadian Grand Prix.
The Silverstone-based outfit is locked in battle with Mercedes and Ferrari in the race for second in the Constructors' standings with Red Bull dominating out in front.
Aston Martin is attempting to secure its first win since rebranding from Racing Point, with owner Lawrence Stroll investing in both infrastructure and personnel, including a brand-new factory the team have recently completed the move into.
The early signs of the investment have been promising, with Fernando Alonso securing podiums in six of the opening eight races.

'Not sure where we were'
The first practice session at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve was abandoned due to CCTV issues before the second session was affected by rain.
This meant that upgrades added to the AMR23 were given only an hour of running in dry conditions before competition began in order to gather data.
"When you put new parts on the car, you always have to be thrown into a bit of a relearning loop: 'How is the car behaving in different conditions, different ride heights?'" Team Principal Krack told media, including RacingNews365.com.
"We have a lot to learn and we have to develop the car further over the next races.
"Friday was a very difficult day. It was the most confusing day we had so far this season because of the conditions and the interruptions, with different programmes at different times.
"We were really not sure where we were, maybe Fernando had a better feeling than we had."
