The final leg of the late-season triple-header sees Formula 1 heading to Brazil for the 2023 Sao Paulo Grand Prix from Interlagos.

Now, you might be wondering why it is not simply the Brazilian Grand Prix as is the norm for the race, but after a fresh contract was agreed until the end of 2025, the name was changed to Sao Paulo to reflect the increased contribution of the local authorities and to boost the name of the city worldwide - a marketing ploy if you will.

George Russell enters as the defending race winner, having taken his maiden race win 12 months ago in a Mercedes one-two - the last victory enjoyed by the team to date.

Kevin Magnussen was officially credited with pole position for Haas, although this was for the Sprint race having won qualifying before finishing eighth in the Sprint. Russell officially started the race P1 but the record books will say Magnussen was on pole.

It is also the final Sprint race of the 2023 season with Max Verstappen looking to become the first ever F1 driver to smash through the 500 point barrier in a season. He needs nine points from the final three Grands Prix plus Sprint...
