Round 20 of 22 in the current Formula 1 season sees the final leg in the Americas triple-header takes place at Interlagos for the Sao Paulo Grand Prix.

The race has not been formally known as the Brazilian Grand Prix since 2019, with a new contract coming into force in 2021 highlighting the support of the Sao Paulo authorities as the track staved off a threat from Rio de Janeiro.

George Russell enters as the defending race winner, having taken a maiden Grand Prix victory in last season's race - Mercedes' sole victory of the ground effects era.
