Higher temperatures than expected will be set across the Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend, with it likely to be a dry weekend throughout in the Nevada desert.

It is quite a contrast to the last couple of race weekends, which have seen temperatures reach over 30 degrees Celsius.

There was also concerns over whether the climate in Las Vegas would be too cold, but it looks more like it will be manageable for the teams and drivers.

Chance of rain on Sunday

According to our friends at WeerOnline.com, throughout the race weekend temperatures will be between 20 and 22 degrees Celsius during the day.

However, most of the sessions are taking place at night time which means temperatures drop to around 12 to 16 degrees Celsius.

During practice day on Friday it is expected to be mostly clear skies, with cool conditions and a small wind.

On Saturday night there is a 20% chance of showers that could pass through the circuit, however it is anticipated that it will remain dry with temperatures reaching up to 13 degrees Celsius.
