As Mercedes reserve Formula 1 driver in 2023, Mick Schumacher's duties include some late nights and early mornings in the Brackley simulator.
For the European rounds where he can travel from base to trackside in a matter of a couple of hours, Schumacher is evaluating set-ups and feedback from regular drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell to fine-tune the W14 after Friday practice.
There is less on-hands driving as opposed to being a full-time driver as he was in 2021 and 2022, but Schumacher still plays a valuable role in helping Mercedes try to pull ahead of Aston Martin and Ferrari.
